We want to help you create great things. We make jigs that speed up development, scale your production efficiently, and help you do the testing and quality assurance you want to do. As the upfront cost and complexity is typically a show stopper for small open source production teams we want to help make these as accessible to you as you’re making your hardware to others!
As part of our commitment to the open source community, we offer a special discount for qualifying open source projects.
Policy Details:
Eligibility Criteria:
- To qualify for the Open Source Project Discount, a project must meet the following criteria:
- The project must be an active open source initiative with complete source and documentation publicly accessible.
- The project license must be compatible with Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike, CERN Open Hardware License (OHL) or the TAPR Open Hardware License (OHL) licenses. For more on open source hardware licenses check out OSHW.
- To qualify for the Open Source Project Discount, a project must meet the following criteria:
Discount Percentage:
- Open source projects that meet the eligibility criteria are eligible for a discount of 60% on all jigs made by TheJigsApp up to $5K per project.
Verification Process:
- When entering a new design select the open source box and enter the public URL.
- Our team will review the provided information to verify eligibility for the discount.
Terms and Conditions:
- The discount is applicable only to hardware manufactured by TheJigsApp and cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions.
- TheJigsApp reserves the right to revoke the discount if a project’s eligibility status is found to be inconsistent with the criteria or if there is a breach of terms and conditions.
- The terms and conditions of this policy are subject to change at the discretion of TheJigsApp without prior notice.
